Implementing ISO50001 at FunderMax and Impress (2011-2013)

In 2012, before the official publication of ISO50001 and on the basis of En16001, a successful co-operation was started to implement a structured energy management. FunderMax and Impress are large industries in Austria and produce and manufacture wooden panels, they have also a large electricity generation. Goal was in particular to identify the energy consumption for significant energy consumers, to understand interdependencies and to plan the energy input for individual production processes.

With this approach FunderMax and Impress are perfectly in line with ISO50001 and their approach to develop a model of significant energy consumers and to plan the energy input accurately.
